Thorsteinn Einarsson is an Austro-Icelandic musician who has become known for the talent show The big opportunity.
Einarsson comes from Reykjavik and came at the age of five years for the first time to Salzburg, where his father studied singing. After three years, his parents separated and he moved with his mother back to Reykjavik.  At age eleven, he founded the first band.  At 14, he came again to Salzburg, where his father was now working as an opera singer. After the mandatory school attendance, he began training as a chef. In 2014 he participated in the talent show The great opportunity in part and was the only man to reach the final, where he eventually finished 4th.  With his final song Leya, where he co-wrote, he was then in the Top 10 the Austrian charts. When Amadeus Awards 2015 he was awarded in the category Songwriter of the Year.
